Facilitation & Engagement
Involving People
Clients have gained huge value from group facilitation provided by DSHC. Group-oriented techniques provide a participative style of engagement, that provide significant benefits in:
- Building broad buy-in to a change
- Generating a quantity of high quality ideas and input from stakeholders
- Exposing staff and stakeholders to analytical and process oriented techniques
Effective Problem Solving
My well facilitated group sessions can be effective in solving problems and agreeing next steps by:
- Expanding the base of ideas and generating options
- Evaluating options and eliminating those that are unlikely or inappropriate
- Building consensus and focus on the way forward
- Creating outcomes as a group that are “superior” to those that could be achieved individually
- Achieving shared goals and addressing key business objectives
I can provide support to work with individual groups e.g. focus groups, workshops. Or can support longer term situations, perhaps as part of a change project, to engage key stakeholders e.g. gaining commitment and valuable input from clinicians in agreeing best practice to support national software development.
